The answer is no, and that has really prompted me to make it all simple for all who might need this.

What is Carrier Hub App?

Carrier hub app is an Android application that enables features like voice over WiFi (VoWiFi) on various devices using T-Mobile or Sprint networks. Sprint/T-Mobile’s Network engineering is also able to contact Carrier hub for customer-reported service concerns, according to Carrier hub’s play store description.

At present, Carrier Hub by Sprint and Carrier Hub Magenta by T-Mobile USA are the only available Carrier Hub applications on the Google Playstore. And they both offer the same features. And it has been so since April, 2020 when Sprint merged with T-Mobile.

There are some phones that come with the app preinstalled. If your phone doesn’t come with it, you’ll receive constant notifications asking you to install the app so that it runs more smoothly. Carrier Hub is a mobile application that you can install by tapping on the notification, and following the on-screen instructions, but sometimes it fails to download, and the notification keeps appearing.

Sprint provides carrier-related services and products for Sprint-enabled devices. The software allows Sprint customers to turn on wireless communications products, like  VoiceOver Wifi. Customer service concerns are also handled by our carrier hub. This latest update is needed for Google Android Q requirements. Carrier Hub is pre-installed at the manufacturing process and updates must now occur through the Google Play Store.
